All Set for Dillish Beauty Products Launch

All is set for the launch of new Vault Cosmetic product "Dillish Lipstick" to be held tomorrow at the Arundel Village in Harare.

The cosmetic collection from cool matte lipsticks and lip-glosses have the face of 2013 Big Brother Africa winner, Dillish Matthews.

Vault Cosmetic founder Jackie Muchanyuka-Mgido said everything is going according to plan.

"We are so excited about the launch as we took our time, since last year, planning for the event. It is here now and everyone should come and witness the grand opportunity we have. It is about glitz and glamour," said Mgido.

Mgido, a well known make-up artist said they involved Big Brother Africa winner Dillish Matthews because of her influence among African women.

"It is the best decision I have ever made, choosing Dillish for our cosmetic range. She is very humble and when I approached her with the idea, she immediately accepted the offer.

"Dillish is known in most African countries, so launching a product in her name is a plus for us as people will identify more with it," she said.

Mgido said a number of entertainment activities are also set to take place at the launch.

"We have a guest performance by Davina Green a female R 'n' B singer who will entertain the crowd. Among the guest list we have top local models, celebrities and fashionistas. Guests will also feast from prepared cup-cakes and some candies," she said.

She said women will also be given an opportunity to try different lip sticks displayed before Dillish introduces herself.

The event is officially sponsored by AFDIS.

On Saturday, Mgido will host an autograph session of herself and Dillish at Joina City in the city centre.

"I also have good news to share. We have been given a venue by the owner of Joina City and that is where we are doing our signing of autographs. I urge people to come in their numbers," she said.

Mgido moved to the United States of America 20 years ago to pursue make-up art as a career.

She attended Hollywood Make-Up Designery and has worked with top celebrities such as Ice Cube, Ne-YO, Cuba Gooding Jnr and Snoop Lion among others.
