Singer-songwriter JJ from Zimbabwe wooed the crowd with a song he wrote especially for the show; while Uganda’s Esther went with a chart-topper, singing her heart out for the audience who clapped along, but whose score did not reflect their enthusiasm.
Radio presenter Mr. 265 from Malawi, his voice booming across the excited audience, gave the audience a quick delivery of who to expect in the house. Like many of the rest, he’s looking to use Big Brother Africa as a platform for exposure.
Tayo from Nigeria strode onto stage with confidence delivering a piece he prepared for the show. The housemates are clearly eager to impress Biggie and let Africa know exactly who they are. Sushi chef
Permithias displayed a different side to his skill-set as he crooned softly to the strumming of his guitar, creating a mellow vibe on stage before IK revved the excitement back up.
With the diverse talent on display tonight, do you think JJ, Esther, Mr. 265, Tayo or Permithias stand a chance of being the ultimate hotshot?
