Resa ‘at peace’ after eviction

ONE of Zambia’s representatives to this year’s Big Brother Africa, Resa, on Sunday became the first housemate to be evicted from the reality show.

The 25-year-old Lusaka-based events planner told host IK during the live eviction show that she was “at peace” despite being the first contestant to be evicted, leaving compatriot Macky 2 in the US$300,000-rich competition.

She also said she was glad to have had such an experience in the house.

“I am at peace, I had an amazing journey. For me Big Brother started a month ago and I’m happy because I was being me. Many people in the house are doing things in order to be noticed by Africa,” Resa said.

And despite putting up a good performance during her group’s task on Saturday, Africa still did not spare Resa from eviction.

Some posts on social media suggest that Resa was too quiet for the show.

It is not surprising that Resa got the lowest votes because most BBA fans, especially in Zambia, supported rapper Macky 2.

Resa is expected back in the country tomorrow.

The second evictee was Mira from Mozambique who made a scandal on Friday’s party night when she kissed Luis and Nhlanhla.

As soon as Mira’s name was announced, Luis cried as Idris and Sipe comforted him.
The Mozambican student intern embraced Luis again and they kissed before she left the house.
